X Shot ~ Disney Celebration *closed*

How many times have you found yourself with the perfect photo opportunity and you didn’t have anyone to take a picture of your whole group? I bet you found yourself frustrated by the fact that one of you couldn’t be in the picture because he was taking the picture. I know my family has been stuck in that predicament many times. I will never be in that situation ever again though now that I have discovered the Xshot, a mechanism that extends your camera out, up to 37 inches, but close up to only 9 inches!

Michael Daoud was in France sightseeing when he realized just how hard it was to get a good picture of he and his wife without asking a stranger to take one. He tried extending his own arm, while holding his camera, and taking the picture that way but very little of the background he was trying so hard to capture was in his pictures. “If only my arm was a little bit longer,” he thought. He asked his friend John Stump who was an inventor and mechanical engineer for some help and together they developed the Xshot. The Xshot truly does take a picture that makes it seem as if someone else has taken the picture.

I took my Xshot to Disney with us because I knew I wanted shots of all of us in front of Cinderella’s Castle and various spots throughout the park. The Xshot was easy to use and I had so many people asking about it. I could tell they were wishing they had one as well!
